PRIVACY NOTICE

Huntly.ai Inc., together with its affiliates, associates and partners (collectively "Huntly" or "we") has obtained personal data about you (as a candidate) from one of the users acting as a recruiter at our platform.

Who we are. Huntly is a marketplace that connects tech companies searching for new talents, recruiters, and specialists in the field of information technology ("candidates"). With our help IT businesses accelerate their hiring process, recruiters generate income, while software developers make rewarding careers.

Why we process your personal data. Huntly processes the information about you to fill a position opened at the company of one of our clients specified in the notification sent to you at the e-mail address specified by the recruiter while uploading your profile to our platform ("employer") for which we are considering you.

Personal data that we process. The personal data we have obtained about you from one of our recruiters normally amounts to the following:

  • contact details – such as full name, physical address, e-mail address, postal address, phone number, user IDs in messengers and telecommunication applications (e.g., Skype);
  • demographic information – such as age, gender, country of temporary and/or permanent residence, and immigration status;
  • information referring to professional background – such as education data, professional experience & skills, credentials, references, former or current job title, role, occupation, industry, employers and/or customers, participation in various projects;
  • other information – meaning further data about you uploaded by the respective recruiter, the information directly provided by you at your own decision, or any other data that we process about you with your knowledge.

The legal basis for processing your data. We oblige our recruiters to share the candidates' data with us only based on the candidates' explicit consent to such transfer and further processing of the said data as described herein and in our Privacy & Cookie Policy. Consequently, the recruiter who has provided us your data is responsible for having received your consent. However, if you have not agreed to it, please inform us (please see details in the paragraph "Contact us" herein below).

Retention period. We will keep your data for 2 years from now (in particular, to be able to offer you future job opportunities), or, as the case may be, until the purpose for processing your personal data is expired, whichever is earlier.

Transfer of your personal data. We may share your data with:

  • the employer (together with their affiliates, associates and partners);
  • independent contractors, consultants and agents of Huntly and/or the employer (affiliates, associates and partners);
  • other persons as may be described in our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

If you are physically located in one of the European Union/ European Economic Area countries, please note that your personal data may be transferred and processed in the states which are not recognized as providing appropriate level of data protection in the meaning of GDPR, including, without limitation, in the US. You may be sure that at any given moment such processing will be subject to appropriate safeguards that are prescribed by the applicable legislation, in particular those specified in Article 46 of GDPR (such as application of the standard contractual clauses available on the European Commission website).

Right to access. If you ask us, we will confirm whether we are processing your personal data and, if necessary, provide you with a copy of such personal data (along with other details).

Right to rectify. If you detect any mistakes or misinterpretations after reviewing a copy of your personal data, you can ask us to update such personal data.

Right to erasure. You can ask us to stop processing your personal data (in case you wish to withdraw your consent to processing your information, or if it turns out the recruiter has shared your data with us without your consent) and we will abide so.

Right to file a complaint. If you have a concern with respect to the way we process your personal data, you can report it to the relevant supervisory authority. If you are physically located in one of the European Union/ European Economic Area countries, you can access the contacts of the European Union national data protection authorities at the website of the European Data Protection Board. If you are physically located in the United States, you can either contact the Federal Trade Commission or the General Attorney of your state (California Privacy Protection Agency if you are within California).

Our privacy practices. This Privacy Notice should be read together with Privacy & Cookie Policy which describes how we process your personal data and lists your data subject rights in this respect.
